Prices of section steel kept an upward trend in April in most domestic markets supported by increasing ex-works prices and players’ optimistic expectation towards the coming market. At the month end, many regional governments announced that the electricity supply will be limited to steelmakers for energy conservation and emission reduction, so market observers predict prices of section steel will keep going up next month with the demand from end users being stronger.
