At 3 am on August 29, 2007, an earthquake happened in the gob of Bula Mine in Sunjiacha Town of Shenmu County.
At 23:18 on December 28, 2010, a M3.0 earthquake happened in Shenmu, which is preliminarily considered as the result of collapsed gob of Malata Mine.
