China's production of ten nonferrous metals reached 6.81 million tonnes in July 2025, up by 2.2% year on year, and the production from January to July totaled 47.39 million tonnes, an increase of 2.8% from the prior year period, according to the National Bureau of Statistics.
In the first seven months, China produced 26.38 million tonnes of primary aluminum, up by 2.8% compared to the same period last year, including 3.78 million tonnes in July, up slightly by 0.6% YoY.
