Jiangsu Longda plans capital increase to expand overseas alloy capacity

Jiangsu Longda Superalloy Co., Ltd. announced plans to invest an additional USD40 million in its wholly-owned Singapore subsidiary, Singda Superalloy Pte. Ltd., bringing its total investment to USD60 million.
Last year, Singda Superalloy set up a 100%-owned subsidiary Singda Superalloy (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. To better serve international customers, Jiangsu Longda plans to expand its product range beyond cast superalloy master alloys and specialty metals to include corrosion-resistant and high-performance wrought alloys.
To ensure stable, long-term operations, the company will switch from leasing to buying land and building its own factory. Singda Malaysia will produce a variety of products, including superalloy master alloy bars, corrosion-resistant nickel alloys, high-performance specialty alloys, ferronickel alloys, and specialty stainless steels.
