Baijiada secures major copper foil supply deals

Recently, Shenzhen Baijiada Advanced Energy Materials Co., Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Nuode Investment Co., Ltd., reached an agreement with Trina Energy Storage Solutions (Jiangsu) Co., Ltd. Under the deal, Trina Energy Storage will purchase 4.5μm copper foil, a raw material for battery cell, from Baijiada in 2025, with a contract value of approximately 200 million yuan (27.37 million US dollars). The actual supply volume will be subject to formal sales orders.
In addition, Baijiada has entered into a strategic cooperation framework agreement with SVOLT Energy Technology Co., Ltd. The two parties will engage in long-term, stable cooperation in areas such as product supply and contract manufacturing. Over the next three years, SVOLT plans to purchase up to 50,000 tonnes of lithium battery copper foil from Baijiada, with specific order quantities to be adjusted periodically based on market demand and project progress through mutual consultation.
