Yinman Mining receives regulatory approval to resume mining

On April 15, the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region Mine Safety Supervision Bureau issued a notice approving the resumption of operations at the Baiyin Chagan East Mountain Mining Area, a copper-lead-tin-silver-zinc mine with an annual underground mining capacity of 1.65 million tonnes (above the 690-meter level), owned by Xiwuzhumuqin Banner Yinman Mining Co., Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Inner Mongolia Xingye Silver & Tin Mining Co., Ltd.
According to the notice, production in the Yinman Mining area already resumed on April 16, 2025.
On March 9, a safety accident occurred at the Yinman Mining project site operated by Henan Jinyuan Construction Co., Ltd., the mining contractor for Yinman Mining. The incident, which took place during mining operations, resulted in one fatality with no injuries. Following the incident, production at Yinman Mining was halted, while the beneficiation plant continued normal operations. Currently, Yinman Mining has completed the necessary rectification work as required by the regulatory authorities.
