The China National Resources Recycling Association has released the 2025 Report on the Development of China's Renewable Resources Recycling Industry
In 2024, steel scrap remained the most recovered category, accounting for over 60% of the total volume. Thanks to the successful implementation of the "trade-in" policy for consumer goods, the recycling volumes of discarded electrical and electronic products as well as end-of-life vehicles saw significant growth.
