Baotou Shouzheng's permanent magnet project settles in Rare Earth High-Tech Zone

On March 21, Baotou National Rare Earth High-Tech Industrial Development Zone signed an investment agreement with Baotou Shouzheng New Materials Co., Ltd. for the establishment of a 3,000tpa rare earth permanent magnet materials project. This marks another rare earth permanent magnet project to be built in the High-Tech Zone, following projects by Xiamen Tungsten, Huahong Technology, and JL MAG Rare-Earth. The new project further strengthens the development of the "two rare earth bases" in Baotou.
Baotou Shouzheng is a joint venture between Ningbo Novatech Kesheng Magnet Co., Ltd. and Baotou Kunlian Magnetic Industry Co., Ltd. Ningbo Novatech Kesheng Magnet Co., Ltd., established in July 2019 as a sino-foreign joint venture, specializes in the development and production of high-end NdFeB permanent magnet materials.
The 3,000tpa rare earth permanent magnet material project will utilize industry-leading equipment along with proprietary specialized machinery developed by the company. Additionally, in the field of magnetic components for communication applications, the project boasts high technical expertise, exceptional processing precision, and superior production efficiency, giving it a distinct competitive edge and a strong advantage in niche segments of the magnetic materials market.
