Shanxi Zhongrun secures approval to launch casting alloy project

Shanxi Zhongrun's 40,000tpa casting alloy project has received official approval from Aluminum Corporation of China, The project, with a designed annual production capacity of 40,000 tonnes of cast alloy ingot (or alloy liquid), will focus on producing A356.2 and other cast aluminum alloy ingots with similar compositions. It will also have the capacity to supply aluminum alloy liquid to downstream companies.
Leveraging its existing foundry plant and equipment, Shanxi Zhongrun will integrate advanced technologies, including magnetic stirrers, aluminum refining equipment, filtration systems, wheel casting machines, and supporting auxiliary facilities. Upon completion, the project is expected to enhance the proportion of liquid aluminum used for alloying, extend the company's product chain, and boost both product value and operational efficiency. These advancements will further strengthen Shanxi Zhongrun's market competitiveness in the aluminum industry.
