Easpring Technology and CNGR sign lithium battery materials cooperation deal

On February 10, Beijing Easpring Material Technology Co., Ltd. and CNGR Advanced Material Co., Ltd. entered into a strategic cooperation agreement, pursuant to which the two companies will establish a long-term, comprehensive and stable partnership in terms of product supply and sales, technical cooperation, capacity expansion, upstream resources development, as well as the recycling of resources.
Under the agreement, the two sides will establish a long-term partnership in the raw material supply chain for lithium battery materials used in power, energy storage, low-altitude, AI, and robotics sectors, including ternary materials, lithium cobalt oxide (LCO), lithium manganese iron phosphate (LMFP), sodium battery materials, solid-state lithium battery materials, semi-solid lithium battery materials, and lithium-rich manganese-based materials. The collaboration will encompass long-term and stable cooperation in product supply and sales, contract processing, and recycling. Over the next 3-5 years, the two companies anticipate an annual cooperation volume of 30,000- 100,000 tonnes for products such as ternary precursors, cobalt tetroxide, lithium iron (manganese) phosphate, sodium battery precursors, solid-state precursors, polyanionic precursors, and lithium-rich manganese-based precursors.
The two companies have also agreed to jointly engage in the development, recycling, and application of high-quality mineral resources such as nickel, cobalt, lithium, phosphorus, manganese, and sodium, aiming to establish competitive advantages in upstream critical mineral resources. They will collaborate on market expansion for lithium iron phosphate, polyanionic materials and other products, leveraging their respective strengths. Additionally, they will explore opportunities to establish an integrated cooperation model encompassing upstream phosphorus chemical mining, chemical processing, and material production.
