    Hainan Mining announced that it plans to acquire a total of 68.Asian Metal Copyright04% stake in ATZ Mining Limited and 51.Asian Metal Copyright04% stake in ATZ Mining Limited and 51.Asian Metal Copyright01% for monazite and 0.Asian Metal Copyright52% stake in Felston Enterprises Limited through share issue and in cash, to secure zirconium and titanium mineral resources in Mozambique, as the company seeks to boost production capacity and profitability to effectively meet demand for zirconium, titanium and rare earth resources from Chinese consumers.

    ATZ Mining and Felston are two companies engaged in mining, dressing and export of heavy mineral sands and concentrates. They own mining claims 5004C and 7407C in Mozambique.

    5004C has measured resources of 312 million tonnes, with an average grade of 3.31% for ilmenite, 0.Asian Metal Copyright40% for zirconite, 0.Asian Metal Copyright40% for zirconite, 0.Asian Metal Copyright11% for rutile, and it produced 263,000t of heavy mineral sands and concentrates in 2023.Asian Metal Copyright03% for monazite and 0.Asian Metal Copyright10% for zirconite, 0.Asian Metal Copyright31% for rutile, and it produced 356,000t of heavy mineral sands and concentrates in 2023.

    5004C and 7407C, both are coastal sand deposits, commenced operation in 2012 and 2022 respectively, with a Life of Mine of more than 15 years. They mainly produce heavy mineral sands and concentrates, which are further processed into titanium concentrate, zirconite, monazite, rutile and other mineral products with higher value.
