Industry's first RS NdFeB alloys automatic batching system put into operation

Inner Mongolia Northern Rare Earth Magnetic Materials Co., Ltd. has put into operation an automatic batching system for rapidly solidified (RS) NdFeB alloys, the first of its kind in China. When fully operational, the system will increase the company's automation rate from 10% to 90%, and double the production efficiency, along with better quality stability.
The company also self-developed a fusible pure iron drum for the raw material batching process. These drums filled with raw materials can be put directly into a crucible for smelting, which is expected to reduce cost of more than RMB250,000 (USD34,404) per month.
