Tianshan Aluminum has completed the acquisition of 100% stake in PT Inti Tambang Makmur (ITM), through its two Singapore-based subsidiaries, and thus indirectly owned 100% issued Class B share capital of three mining subsidiaries of ITM, each with a bauxite mining right in Indonesia.
According to last year's announcement by the company, initial assessment showed that ITM's three mining subsidiaries, namely PT Persada Pratama Cemerlang (PPC), PT Persada Buana Gemilang (PBG), and PT Paloan Maju Abadi (PMA), together held exploitable bauxite reserves of more than 30 million dry tonnes. According to PPC's 2021 RKAB submitted to Indonesia's MEMR, the mining subsidiary held bauxite resources of approximately 68 million tonnes at its mining district, adjoining that of PBG and PMA, which both remained unexplored.
