Boao Magnesium receives state funding for Mg-Al alloy project

Chongqing Boao Magnesium Aluminum Manufacturing Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Baowu Magnesium, has received state funding of RMB43.2 million (USD6.01 million) in ultra-long special treasury bonds for its high-performance and lightweight magnesium-aluminum alloy production base and innovation R&D center ("the project") in Wansheng, Chongqing.
With a total investment of RMB363 million (USD50.54 million), the project will be able to recycle 20,000t of magnesium metal for refabrication annually.
