    1 Market Highlights
    1.1 Prebaked anode

    For the reduced cost, prebaked anode prices slipped in October and the demand remained firm.

    Export prices slipped in early the month and rebounded later in October.

    1.2 Pet coke

    Pet coke prices reduced in October since the supply remained sufficient while the demand kept weak.

    1.3 Graphite electrode

    Graphite electrode prices in China rebounded in October for the demand recovery. Export prices moved up a bit as well.

    1.4 CPC

    For the improved demand, CPC prices in China went up a bit in October.

    1.5 Coal tar pitch

    In October, coal tar pitch prices increased since producers cut production due to losses.
