    1. Market Highlights

    In September, dragged by weak demand from downstream, prices for Chinese HC and LC ferrochrome decreased further; prices for silicon chromium and Imported prices for ferrochrome in China followed suite.

    In September, the import prices and in port prices for chrome ore from South African, Turkish and Zimbabwean went down following prices of ferrochrome.

    In September, prices for Chinese chrome metal edged down due to soft demand; prices for chromium oxide green and chromic anhydride also edged down.
