Tazhong Mining sees increased Pb-Zn-Cu concentrate output in Q2

Tazhong Mining, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Xizang Zhufeng Resources Co., Ltd., produced 81,400t of lead, zinc and copper concentrate in total during the first half of 2024, containing 20,200t of lead, 22,700t of zinc, 568t of copper, 33.41t of silver, according to the semi-annual report issued by Xizang Zhufeng.
During the first half, the subsidiary reported mining production of 1.22 million tonnes, completing 34% of the annual guidance, down by 8.8% YoY. It processed around 1.23 million tonnes of ore, with 34% of annual guidance completed, down by 8.31% YoY.
Xizang Zhufeng began to optimize the operation model of producing mines owned by Tazhong Mining in the latter half of 2023 and basically completed the work in Q1 2024, with production growing in Q2 and expected to gradually peak in Q3.
