Baotong Mining completes commissioning of copper ore dressing project

On July 25, Chengde Baotong Mining Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Huaxia Jianlong, announced successful hot commissioning of a copper sulphide ore dressing project, which is set to become a new profit growth point for the company that would add annual production value of RMB63.03 (USD8.69million) and profit of RMB40 million (USD5.52 million).
The second phase of the copper ore benefaction project is said to increase comprehensive copper recovery rate to more than 50% from the current 35%, and lift the Cu-S separation recovery from 90% to more than 93%. The project is able to process 432,000 tonnes of crude sulfur powder to produce 1,650tpa of contained copper and 5tpa of the metal. It will also produce 33,000t of sulfur concentrate a year, with output up by 19,800 tonnes.
