JISCO Hongxing wins exploration right for iron and copper mine in Gansu

Gansu Jiu Steel Group Hongxing Iron and Steel Co., Ltd. (JISCO Hongxing) has won the auction of an exploration right of Huashugou iron and copper mine in Gansu for approximately RMB330 million (USD45.4 million).
The exploration right covers an area with measured and inferred resources of 48.85 million tonnes of iron ore at 33.88% TFe and 4.25 million tonnes of copper ore at 0.98% Cu.
As of the end of 2023, the company held mineral reserves of around 231.05 million tonnes of iron ore and 6.07 million tonnes of copper ore.
The exploration right covers an area with measured and inferred resources of 48.85 million tonnes of iron ore at 33.88% TFe and 4.25 million tonnes of copper ore at 0.98% Cu.
As of the end of 2023, the company held mineral reserves of around 231.05 million tonnes of iron ore and 6.07 million tonnes of copper ore.
