Myanmar's Wa State gives green light for transport of tin concentrate

Wa State's Bureau of Industry and Mining has received permission from the Central Economic Planning Committee to resume transport of tin concentrate inventory in the Manxiang district after transport was suspended in April, according to a document issued by Wa State authorities.
Statistics from the Bureau of Industry and Mining showed that 24 dressing plants in the Manxiang district held unsold stocks of 11,852 tonnes of tin concentrates in total as of June 10.
Wa State's Bureau of Industry and Mining issued a notice in early April to suspend preservation of all mine tunnels, the recycling of tin ore from tailings dump and the transport of tin concentrate and raw ore in the Manxiang district. So far, mining of tin ore remains suspended in the Manxiang district.
