On May 25, two manganese mineral exploration projects began drilling at Gengxi manganese deposit and Xinmin manganese deposit in Songtao, Tongren. The start of the mineral exploration projects would pave the way for Guizhou province to achieve the goal of finding 150 million tonnes of manganese mineral resources by the end of the 14th Five-Year Plan period (2021-2025).
