1 Market Highlights
1.1 Prebaked anode
This month, prebaked anode prices in China rebounded a bit due to the increased prices of pet coke and coal tar pitch. The demand improved after aluminum smelters increased production. Export prices moved up as well.

Pet coke prices in China climbed in April as the demand warmed up after prebaked anode producers increased production.
1.3 Graphite electrode
Graphite electrode prices in China moved down further in April and the demand remained stagnant due to the sluggish steel market.

In April, CPC prices edged up in China supported by the strengthened demand and increased pet coke prices.
