Haina Cixi's rough sintered NdFeB magnet consumption moves up

BEIJING (Asian Metal) 30 Apr 24 - Huizhou Haina Xici Material Co., one of the major rough sintered NdFeB magnet consumers in Guangdong province of China, increased its rough sintered NdFeB magnet consumption volume by five tons MoM to around 25t in April 2024.
"Encouraged by increasing PrNd mischmetal prices, which climbed by around RMB50,000/t (USD/t) to about RMB480,000/t (USD/t) EXW T/T 30 days from early April to late April, our clients became active in sending magnet orders in the first three weeks of April, so our rough sintered NdFeB magnet consumption volume in April rose to about 25t, compared with around 20t in March," said a source from the company.
With an annual consumption capacity of 420t of rough sintered NdFeB magnet, Huizhou Haina Xici Material Co. was founded in 2007. The company consumed approximately 160t and 70t respectively in 2023 and so far in 2024. He holds an inventory of around 15t now, in line with one month ago.
The current mainstream prices of rough sintered NdFeB magnet N35 (block) in Guangdong province of China increase to RMB115-118/kg (USD15.9-16.3/kg) EXW T/T 60 days, up by around RMB3/kg (USD0.4/kg) from one week ago.
