Chaori Technology to increase bonded magnetic powder output

BEIJING (Asian Metal) 25 Apr 24 - As one of the major bonded magnetic powder producers in China, Yiwu Chaori Technology Co., plans to produce 10t MoM to about 40t in April 2024.
"Encouraged by increasing PrNd mischmetal prices, our orders became active in sending orders over the past two weeks, so we would produce around 40t of bonded magnetic powder this month, compared with about 30t last month," said a source from the company.
With an annual production capacity of 1,000t of bonded magnetic powder, Yiwu Chaori Technology Co. mainly produces bonded magnetic powder with (BH) max performance not higher than 13.0 MGOe. The company produced about 85t so far in 2024, compared with approximately 150t in 2023. It has about 10t of stocks at present, without much change MoM.
As PrNd mischmetal mainstream prices increased by around RMB5,000/t (USD690/t) to about RMB480,000/t (USD66,243/t) EXW T/T 30 days over the past week, the current mainstream prices of bonded magnetic powder B-10.5M in Jinhua, Zhejiang province rise to RMB95-100/kg (USD13.1-13.8/kg) EXW T/T 60 days, up by around RMB5/kg (USD0.7/kg) from one week ago.
