Jinyang Advanced Material plans to resume aluminum fluoride production

BEIJING (Asian Metal) 24 Apr 24 - Anhui Jinyang Advanced Material Co., the only aluminum fluoride producer in Anhui of China, plans to restart production in late April and would not release production in April, a source from the company reports to Asian Metal.
"We plan to resume aluminum fluoride production late this month and would not release production this month," says the source, who produced close to 3,000t last month and holds no stock now. They once shut down production late last month and shifted to produce hydrofluoric acid.
With two production lines and the total production capacity of 72,000tpy, they produced around 7,000t in the Q1 this year and around 13,000t in total last year.
Current mainstream prices for aluminum fluoride 61%min in China keep at RMB9,750-9,950/t (USD1,346-1,373/t) EXW, stable from late last week. As fluorspar prices move up, aluminum fluoride prices would get support this week.
