Hongyuan Chemicals to finish aluminum fluoride equipment maintenance

BEIJING (Asian Metal) 15 Apr 24 - Yizhang Hongyuan Chemicals Co., a major aluminum fluoride producer in Hunan of China, would finish equipment maintenance one week later and might produce 3,000t in April, a source from the company reports to Asian Metal.
"We might finish equipment maintenance one week later and could produce around 3,000t this month," says the source, who started maintenance on one production line from early this month and produced around 4,000t in March, with no stock now.
With four production lines and the total production capacity of 80,000tpy, they produced over 10,000t during the first quarter of this year and around 40,000t in total last year.
Present mainstream prices for aluminum fluoride 61%min in south China keep at RMB9,950-10,100/t (USD1,375-1,396/t) delivered, stable from late last week. Supported by the increased fluorspar price, aluminum fluoride producers keep confident in the price now.
