BEIJING (Asian Metal) 12 Apr 24 - As one of the major rough sintered NdFeB magnet consumers in Guangdong province of China, Huizhou Haina Xici Material Co., consumed about 20t of rough sintered NdFeB magnet in March 2024, an increase of around 12t MoM.
"We succeeded in getting more finished magnet orders from end users in March, so we consumed around 20t of rough sintered NdFeB magnet in March, while our consumption volume in March recorded only around eight tons as we halted production for around two weeks and our clients delayed purchasing," said a source from the company, who expects to use around 15t this month.
Established in 2007, Huizhou Haina Xici Material Co. owns an annual consumption capacity of 420t. The company's consumption volume so far in 2024 recorded around 55t, compared with approximately 160t in 2023. He holds an inventory of around 15t at present, without much change MoM.
The current Chinese rough sintered NdFeB magnet N45 (block) mainstream prices in Guangdong province of China increase to RMB138-143/kg (USD19.1-19.8/kg) EXW T/T 60 days, up by around RMB5/kg (USD0.7/kg) from one week ago. Consumers have no intention to purchase in bulk.
