Solitaire Resources to cut chrome ore production

BEIJING (Asian Metal) 12 Apr 24 - Solitaire Resources Private Ltd., a professional foreign trade company registered at Mumbai India, has its own chrome mine in Oman. They would cut the output of chrome lumpy to about 5,000t in April.
"Our output of chrome lumpy 32%min would decrease to about 5,000t due to Ramadan", a source from the company notes, adding that they produced about 7,000t in March.
The company, with an annual production capacity of 100,000t of chrome ore, would produce about 5,000t in April, down by nearly 2,000 from last month. They mainly sell chrome lumpy to China and Europe.
The current mainstream prices of South African chrome concentrate 40%min stand at USD300-305/t CIF China, stable from late last week. Most buyers hold back from purchasing at the moment. Insiders predict that the mainstream prices of South African chrome concentrate would keep flat in the week to come.
