Fufeng New Materials to increase aluminum fluoride production

BEIJING (Asian Metal) 10 Apr 24 - Jiangxi Fufeng New Materials Co., the only aluminum fluoride producer in Jiangxi, plans to produce around 2,800t in April, up from around 2,000t in March, a source from the company reports to Asian Metal.
"We would produce around 2,800t in April, up from around 2,000t last month," says the source, adding that the demand for aluminum fluoride in southwest China improves.
With one production line and the production capacity of 40,000tpy, they produced around 3,000t during the Q1 this year and close to 10,000t last year in total.
Present mainstream prices for aluminum fluoride 61%min in south China keep at RMB9,950-10,100/t (USD1,376-1,396/t) delivered, up by RMB150/t (USD21/t) from early this week due to the increased fluorspar and sulfuric acid price. As aluminum smelters in Yunnan increase production, the demand for aluminum fluoride increases.
