Guangxi Maoxin's scandium oxide output increases

BEIJING (Asian Metal) 4 Apr 24 - Guangxi Maoxin Technology Co., one of the major scandium oxide 95%min producers in China, increased its scandium oxide 99.99%min by 110kg MoM to around 300t in March 2024.
"Our clients became active in sending orders, so we produced about 300kg of scandium oxide 99.99%min in March, while our output in February recorded only around 180kg," said a source from the company, who expects to produce another 300kg in April.
Established in 2016, Guangxi Maoxin Technology Co. mainly extracts scandium oxide 95-99.99%min from titanium oxide waste acid and owns an annual production capacity of 7.2t of scandium oxide 99.99%min. The company's outputs in 2023 and so far in 2024 recorded approximately three tons and 800kg respectively. He holds an inventory of around 500kg now, without much change MoM.
The current scandium oxide 99.99%min mainstream prices in Guangxi province of China hover at RMB4,800-5,000/kg (USD663-691/kg) EXW D/P, in line with one week ago.
