Yunnan Chihong's annual refined lead and zinc output up by 20% YoY

Yunnan Chihong Zinc & Germanium Co., Ltd. achieved an annual operating revenue of about RMB21.95 billion (USD3.04 billion) in 2023, up by 0.24% from the prior, and the annual production of main products hit historic highs, including 340,600 tonnes of zinc and lead in concentrate and 697,500 tonnes of refined zinc and lead, with refined production up by 20.01% year on year, according to the company's annual report.
For refined metal production, the company produced 518,100 tonnes of refined zinc, including 371,000 tonnes of zinc ingot and 147,100 tonnes zinc alloy, up by 18.2% YoY, and the annual refined zinc sales increased by 17.07% YoY to 516,200 tonnes. The annual production of refined lead was around 179,400 tonnes and sales reached 176,300 tonnes, up by 25.55% and 26.09% YoY respectively.
As of the report disclosure date, the company had annual production capacity of 420,000 tonnes of zinc and lead in concentrate and 630,000 tonnes of refined zinc and lead.
