"Due to limited export quotas of Indonesian suppliers, our monthly sales volume decreased to about 20t, much less than the normal of over 200t a month in the same period of last year. We had to replenish stocks from other local traders," a trader in America disclosed. They quoted about USD27,500/t EXW 100% down for tin ingot 99 . 95%min without any concession but didn't close any deal today due to no firm bid. While they sold about 1t at nearly USD27,400/t yesterday . Due to tight supply, they predict the mainstream prices of Indonesian tin ingot 99 . 95%min would move up in the America next week.
The trader, based on a regular monthly sales volume of around 300t, sold about 20t this month, on par with last month. They almost hold no inventory now.
Another trader in America revealed, "We originally imported tin ingot 99.95%min from Malaysia and Indonesia . Nevertheless, we didn't import any tin ingots from Indonesia since the beginning of this year."
