Zhengzhou Yanxia resumes calcined bauxite production

BEIJING (Asian Metal) 19 Mar 24 - As a major calcined bauxite producer in Henan, Zhengzhou Yanxia Refractory Materials Co.Asian Metal Copyright 3.Asian Metal Copyright, Ltd, resumes the production of calcined bauxite since 11th March, and they expect to produce around 600t in March.

"We suspended production since late December due to the air pollution orange alert and resumed production since a week ago after the inspection of environmental protection completed", a source in the company states, noting that they plan to produce about 600t this month.

Having a production capacity of 50,000tpy, they produced about 15,000t in the year of 2023 and estimate to produce about 12,000t this year. They have an inventory of almost 1,000t. for the time being
