Hunan Jingxiang to increase bonded magnetic powder output

BEIJING (Asian Metal) 14 Mar 24 - As one of the major bonded magnetic powder producers in China, Hunan Jingxiang Magnet Co. expected to produce around 20t of magnetic powder in March 2024, an increase of around five tons MoM.
"Some of our clients became active in purchasing over the past two weeks, so we would produce around 20t of bonded magnetic powder this month, compared with about 15t last month," said a source from the company.
Founded in 2011, Hunan Jingxiang Magnet Co. owns an annual production capacity of 1,000t of bonded magnetic powder. The company's outputs in 2023 and so far in 2024 recorded approximately 290t and 55t respectively. It holds an inventory of around 15t at present, without much change MoM.
The current mainstream of bonded magnetic powder B-7M mainstream prices in Hunan, China declined to RMB60-65/kg (USD8.3-9.0/kg) EXW T/T 60 days, down by around RMB5/kg (USD0.7/kg) from one week ago.
