Fufeng New Materials restarts aluminum fluoride production

BEIJING (Asian Metal) 12 Mar 24 - Jiangxi Fufeng New Materials Co., the only aluminum fluoride producer in Jiangxi of China, restarted production one week ago and might produce 2,000t in March, a source from the company reported to Asian Metal.
"We resumed production one week ago and might produce 2,000t this month," said the source, who once shut down operation in early February for the sluggish market and holds no stock now.
With one production line and the production capacity of 30,000tpy, they produced around 9,000t in 2023 and over 1,000t so far this year.
Present mainstream prices for aluminum fluoride 61%min in China remain at RMB8,700-8,900/t (USD1,211-1,239/t) EXW, stable from late last week. As more aluminum fluoride producers in China restarted production, the supply increased.
