Jinyang Advanced Material increases aluminum fluoride production

BEIJING (Asian Metal) 5 Mar 24 - Anhui Jinyang Advanced Material Co., the only aluminum fluoride producer in Anhui, produced around 3,000t in February, up from around 1,000t in January, a source from the company reported to Asian Metal.
"We produced around 3,000t of aluminum fluoride last month, up from around 1,000t in January," said the source, adding that they increased aluminum fluoride production due to the sluggish hydrofluoric acid market. They plan to maintain the same production volume in March and hold no stock now.
With two production lines and the production capacity of 72,000tpy, they produced around 13,000t in 2023 and over 4,000t so far this year.
Present mainstream prices for aluminum fluoride 61%min in east China keep at RMB8,800-8,900/t (USD1,222-1,236/t) delivered, up by RMB200/t (USD28/t) from late last month due to the increased fluorspar price. Producers remain confident in the price in the coming week.
