1 Market Highlights
1.1 Prebaked anode
In December, prebaked anode prices in China and prices for export slumped as pet coke and CPC prices dropped. For the air pollution alert, prebaked anode producers in north China cut production in the second half of this month.

Pet coke prices in China went down this month as the demand from prebaked anode and negative electrode materials weakened.

This month, graphite electrode prices in China dropped quickly as the demand both at home and abroad softened while the supply in China remained sufficient.
