Renewable resources industry park to break ground in Macheng, China

On December 8, the signing ceremony for a renewable resources industry park was held at Macheng Economic Development Zone in Hubei, China.
With a planned total investment of RMB1 billion (USD139 million), the project will be built and operated by Hubei Xingye Iron and Steel Charging Co., Ltd., and the construction of the industry park covering 387Mu (25.8 hectares) would take 10 months, including a 35,000 sq.m. plant which processes steel scrap, aluminum scrap, waste plastics, waste paper, etc. The plant is expected to go into operation in the second half of 2024.
