Hunan Haili acquires controlling stake in Hongyuan Vanadium

On December 4, Hunan Haili High-Tech Industry Group reached an agreement to get a controlling interest in Guzhang Hongyuan Vanadium Industry Co., Ltd., along with a capital increase to Hongyuan Vanadium, as the company aims to become a leading enterprise of the vanadium industry in Hunan.
Hunan Haili has been awarded the exploration right of two large vanadium ore deposits in Guzhang, which have the largest vanadium reserves in Asia. Upon completion of the equity transfer and capital increase, Hunan Haili will hold a 56.7% equity interest in Hongyuan Vanadium and will have a total production capacity of 3,000tpa of vanadium pentoxide.
Hunan Haili is currently advancing a new energy storage materials project that integrates mining, smelting, electrolyte production and energy storage materials production. When completed, the project would achieve scale production of vanadium electrolyte.
