Guangdong TDK breaks ground on phase two sintered NdFeB magnets project

On October 13, Guangdong TDK Rising Rare Earth High Technology Material Co., Ltd. held the groundbreaking ceremony for the phase two of high performance sintered NdFeB magnet materials project at Meizhou, Guangdong.
As an important cooperation project between China's Rising Nonferrous Metal and Japan's TDK Corporation, the phase two project with a total investment of RMB134 million (USD18.34 million) will add production capacity of 1,500tpa of high performance NdFeB magnet materials, which is expected to double the company's existing capacity when fully operational. The phase two project would generate annual operating revenue of RMB800 million (USD110 million), along with tax revenue of RMB63 million (USD8.63 million).
