Yunnan Copper reports 6.44% increase in H1 copper cathode production

Yunnan Copper achieved an operating revenue of RMB70.79 billion (USD9.71 billion) in the first half of 2023, up by 9.92% from the prior year period, according to the company's semi-annual report.
In the first half of the year, Yunnan Copper produced 31,200t of copper in concentrate, on par with a year ago, and 658,700t of copper cathode, up by 6.44% year on year.
The company increased inferred resources by 24,400t of copper equivalent during the period. By the end of June 2023, the company holds ore reserve of 987 million tonnes at 0.38% Cu on average for 3.71 million tonnes of copper equivalent.
