Mirador copper mine phase two expansion project dressing plant breaks ground

On August 1, the Ecuador unit of Tongguan Construction and Installation Co., Ltd. broke ground on the dressing plant of Mirador copper mine phase two expansion project. When completed, Mirador mine will have a total mining and dressing capacity of 46.2 million tonnes per annum of copper ore and produce more than 200,000t of copper annually.
The phase two expansion of Mirador mine is a key project developed by Tongling Nonferrous Metals Group and is scheduled to begin production in July 2025.
