Central China's biggest aluminum ash recycling project produces first aluminum ingot

The biggest aluminum ash harmless disposal and utilization project in Central China produced the first batch of aluminum ingot on July 13 after the aluminum smelting production line of Huangshi industrial solid waste comprehensive recycling and utilization project was put into use.
With total investment of RMB220 million (USD30.67 million), the project is located at Changleshan circular economy industrial park in Xialu, Huangshi, covering an area of 80Mu (5.33 hectares) and expected to create around 200 jobs. The project is able to process 100,000t of aluminum ash and slag annually to produce 20,000tpa of aluminum alloy ingot and 160,000tpa of calcium aluminate used for steelmaking.
