Nantong Zhenghai Magnet has 6ktpa capacity coming on stream

Nantong Zhenghai Magnet, a subsidiary of Yantai Zhenghai Magnetic Material, held the commencement ceremony on June 28. On the same day, the State Key Laboratory of New Metal materials Nantong Zhenghai Research and Development Base was inaugurated.
As of late 2022, Zhenghai Magnetic Material had capacity of 18,000tpa and 6,000tpa at its Yantai base and Nantong base respectively. The recent commencement ceremony is for 6,000tpa of capacity in Nantong base, with another 6,000tpa under construction and expected to come on stream by the end of this year. By 2026, Natong base is expected to reach full capacity of 18,000tpa and become the largest rare earth magnet R&D and production base in the world.
