The new energy vehicle (NEV) industry is facing unprecedented development opportunities, Meng Wei, spokesperson of the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC), said at a press conference on May 17. In the next step, China will continue to improve policies and measures, guide relevant parties to seize opportunities, improve technological innovation capabilities, build a new industrial ecosystem, promote industrial integration and development, improve infrastructure systems, deepen open exchanges and cooperation, and continuously enhance the core competitiveness of the industry.
