Huakong Power inks 1GW wind-solar complementary project contract with Wulan

On May 9, Huakong Power Group reached cooperation consensus on a 1GW wind-solar complementary project and signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement with the county government of Wulan, Haixi Prefecture in Qinghai.
According to the agreement, Huakong Power will construct a 500-megawatt wind power project and a 500-megawatt solar power project in Wulan County with a total investment of around RMB6 billion (USD866 million).
