Shuangliang Eco-energy's 50GW monocrystalline silicon project starts construction in Baotou

Shuangliang Eco-energy held a commencing ceremony for its third phase of a monocrystalline silicon project in Baotou, Inner Mongolia on March 18.
The project's third phase, with a total investment of RMB10.5 billion (USD1.53 billion), will cover an area of 823mu and achieve an annual production capacity of 50 gigawatts of large monocrystalline silicon materials upon completion. Its annual output value is estimated to be about RMB26.08 billion (USD3.79 billion).
What's more, the construction of the project will contribute to the formation of an industrial chain layout composed of 100-gigawatt monocrystalline silicon materials, 80-gigawatt new supporting materials and 20-gigawatt photovoltaic modules.
