On September 15, the General Office of the Guangzhou Municipal People's Government issued a notice on the construction of ecological civilization during the "14th Five-Year Plan" in Guangzhou. The notice pointed out that Guangzhou would actively develop and utilize solar energy, steadily promote the process of photovoltaic connecting into grid, push forward the distributed photovoltaic development pilot construction of the whole district such as Huangpu and Conghua, encourage the application of photovoltaic power generation in multiple fields, and support the application and promotion of photovoltaic building integration. It should reasonably lay out and construct decentralized wind power projects. By 2025, Guangzhou strives to achieve photovoltaic power generation and wind power installed capacity of 1.2 million kilowatts and 160,000 kilowatts respectively.
