Tharisa's chrome concentrate production up 3.9% QoQ in Q3 FY22

Cyprus-based Tharisa PLC said Tuesday that platinum group metals production for the quarter ended June 30 (Q3 FY22) fell compared with the previous quarter, and its chrome production guidance was lowered for the fiscal year.
The company said that its platinum, palladium, rhodium and gold production for Q3 FY22 was 42,100 ounces, compared with 44,100 ounces in the previous quarter.
Chrome concentrate production in the period rose by 3.9% to 389,700 metric tons from 374,900 tons in Q2 FY22.
The company said that chrome concentrate production guidance for fiscal 2022 was reduced 10% to 1.55-1.65 million metric tons due to lower chrome feed grade and a slower ramp-up of its Vulcan plant in South Africa.
