First phase of monocrystalline silicon rod project with annual output of 10GW goes into operation in Xining, Qinghai

On June 29, the first phase of monocrystalline silicon rod project with an annual output of 10GW of Xining Atlas Photovoltaic Technology Co., Ltd. located in Nanchuan Industrial Park, Xining (National) Economic and Technological Development Zone, was ignited and put into operation.
With a designed production capacity of 10GW, the project will be implemented in first and second phase. The first phase (5GW) of the project started construction in July 2021 and went into operation on June 29, 2022; the second phase (5GW) of the project started construction in April 2022 and is expected to be put into operation in October 2022. The project will produce 30,000 tons of monocrystalline silicon rod per year after it is put into operation, with an estimated annual output value of about RMB10 billion (USD1.49 billion).
